Just wanted to let you know that is having a killer art contest! Having participated in this contest for the past couple of years, I can tell you first hand that the prizes are sweet. In fact, the only reason that I'm not entering the contest again this year to get more free swag is because I'm currently working on a project for them! (I don't know if Rich would murder me in my sleep or not if I divulged details, but rest assured, it will be my best stuff yet!)
Anyways, here are the details, straight from the group page:
Just when you thought this group wasn’t doing anything, we’re proud to announce our FOURTH Art Contest here on deviantArt!
Our first three contests were full of AMAZING entries and we know the same will be said about this new contest. Some of our past winners AND contributors have even contributed to some future projects we’re working on. So, you don’t necessarily have to be the “winner” to make this contest worth entering!
Since our last contest, we’ve added our new original graphic novel, BUGGED, to our library of titles (making it four, which seems fitting time to have our fourth contest!) and we’ve added two new figurines (Nina from NEVERMINDS and Splash from SENTINELS).
The rules are simple and the same as before:
1. Create a piece of art featuring any Drumfish Productions character/s. (Sentinels, NeverMinds, our Anthology and/or Bugged. See galleries or www.drumfishproductions.com and www.facebook.com/pages/Drumfis… and jamiefayx.deviantart.com/galle… for reference.)
2. Use any medium you like. Pencils, inks, paints, etc. Let's see your talent. Go wild!
3. Deadline: April 16th, 2014. Don't wait until the last minute though! Time goes by quickly and before you know it the deadline will pass!
And here are the prizes:
1ST PLACE WINNER:
1yr. subscription to deviantART
AND
All 5 Sentinels Graphic Novels, Neverminds #1, 2 and 3 and Bugged!
AND
Your choice of one of Drumfish's figurines.
2ND PLACE:

Art on Ebay!
I've got some original art and prints up on ebay, if anyone is interested!
Huion Tablet on Ebay!
Only about 6 hours left to go on the auction, but it's a great deal on a lightly used graphic tablet! https://www.ebay.com/itm/274762005803
Encyclopedia of Pro Wrestling
The Kickstarter for the Pro Wrestling Encyclopedia is finally live! I only did the cover for this massive 280 page volume but this is a must-have for any wrestling fan! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/laporte/the-comic-book-encyclopedia-of-pro-wrestling I posted the hi-res file of the cover art on my Patreon today for those of you who are interested! I recently changed up the way I do my Patreon...now, instead of charging per finished digital piece with some extras, I'm going back to monthly, and I'm just posting a bunch of stuff in the feed...WIPs, sketches, commissions that I'm working on and anything else that I've got. Any video tutorials will still be sent out via a Dropbox link.
New Update?
How are you guys liking the new DA update? I like it more than Eclipse (which I felt was basically a ripoff of the ArtStation interface), but it will definitely take some getting used to. Thoughts? So, my quarantine has been pretty busy hahaha. I'm working from home on my full-time graphic design job (at Octagon Media in Baton Rouge for those who are curious), trying to knock out commissions that have been on the back burner for WAY too long, all while homeschooling my 8-year-old and trying to keep my 4-year-old entertained enough to not break things. You guys doing any better? Lots of free time, or just the same old stuff but at home instead of in public?

Thanks for sharing the info about the contest, Gavin! (lol, and no, I wouldn't murder you in your sleep for divulging details about what you're working on, but I'm glad you're waiting to say anything until we make a bigger announcement on it).
