I always like drawing Supes with shaggy hair, just so I can make that S swoop extra huge. I don't know why people are so afraid of it. I think it makes him look cool.

I dig the unkempt hair forming the ersatz "S". As well as the unconventional way the cape drapes the neck. All these articles and snipits from this artist or that film maker -- it's nice to see an original take on Superman. My own (not yet posted) employed shoulder length hair and a cape incorporated into the suit and not tucked in.

Enough rambling though. Excellent sketch!
