Very much like the job you did coloring this, plus the addition of the columns and almost silhoutted plants in the background really adds to the whole picture raising it above a simple pin up into something that could easily grace the cover of WW's book. I am going to check out windrider's gallery now, I really link the straightforward clean lines in the base drawing for this image - it leaves much more freedom to the colorist to affect the mood or feel of the image with their lighting and color choices.
Yeah, that guy is pretty awesome! I don't know if you've had a chance to peruse his gallery yet, but he's been colored by some of really talented people. I know as a colorist, I love having linework that's open, as opposed to impossibly detailed stuff that feels claustrophobic, and that you really have no input as far as lighting and stuff. The great thing about Jamie's lines is that they really allow a colorist to add his or her style, but his stuff always looks uniquely his. He's instantly recognizable, even though his style is by no means overpowering.
Honestly, I think the new WW costume is the worst out of the crop. Taking all of the gold out of her costume really, really hurts it. Same with Superman. He really needs that yellow in his costume, I think.
