Maybe that's more Nick Fury than Captain America
I always loved the way that Bryan Hitch drew "casual Cap" in The Ultimates, with a shirt with his star and stripes, along with some army-style pants and boots. Then, when the movie came out, I loved Cap in his helmet and leather jacket waaaaaay more than his actual costume. So, inspired by those two looks, I came up with this: light, comfortable, and with a helmet instead of a mask to cover that brainpan. I also put some of those boot cover things (like WW2 soldiers used to wear) over his boots, just for nostalgia's sake.
